Basic Concepts and Importance of Mining Anchor Pan:
Mining anchor pan is one of the core components in the mine support system, which plays a vital role in modern mining engineering. As an important part of the anchor support system, the anchor disk is mainly used to fix the anchor rods in the rock layer and reinforce the surrounding rock by transmitting the tensile force to prevent the rock from loosening and collapsing. In various underground mining environments such as coal mines and metal mines, the quality and performance of mining anchor plates are directly related to the safety and productivity of the mine.
Compared with traditional support methods, the use of anchor plate support has significant advantages: firstly, it can make full use of the bearing capacity of the rock body itself, forming “active support”; secondly, easy to install, fast construction speed, can significantly improve the efficiency of the digging; furthermore, the consumption of materials is small, the support cost is relatively low; finally, the anchor plate support can be used in conjunction with a variety of types of anchors, to adapt to the needs of different geological conditions. It is these advantages that make mining anchor plate become the first choice of modern mine support program.
The quality and performance of mining anchor disk depends on a number of key technical parameters, the three most important of which include:
1. Material and strength
Mining anchor disk is usually made of high-quality steel, and common materials include Q235, Q345 and other carbon structural steel. High strength is the most basic requirements of the anchor plate, generally require a tensile strength of not less than 330MPa, yield strength of not less than 235MPa. In recent years, some special environments began to use stainless steel or special anticorrosive treatment of the anchor plate to deal with highly corrosive mine environment. High-quality anchor plate will also undergo heat treatment process, such as quenching + tempering, to enhance its mechanical properties and service life.
2. Structure and size design
The structural design of mining anchor disk directly affects its load carrying capacity and usage effect. Common structure types include flat plate type, disk type and bowl type. Disc type anchor plate is most widely used due to its better deformation ability and load bearing performance. The standard size is usually 120mm×120mm, 150mm×150mm, etc., and the thickness is between 8-12mm. The design should consider the matching with the anchor, and the contact surface should have appropriate curvature to ensure the uniform distribution of stress, to avoid stress concentration leading to early failure.
3. Surface treatment process
The surface treatment of mining anchor disk is crucial to its durability and anti-corrosion performance. Commonly used treatment processes include hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, Dacromet coating and so on. The thickness of hot-dip galvanizing layer is generally required to be not less than 50μm, which can be increased to more than 80μm in harsh environments. High-quality anchor plates also adopt the process sequence of "machining before galvanizing" to ensure that critical parts such as threads are not affected by the coating. In recent years, some manufacturers have begun to use nano-coating technology to further improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of anchor plates.
Correct Selection and Use of Mining Anchor Plate:
Selecting the right mining anchor plate and using it correctly is the key to ensure the support effect. When choosing the anchor plate, the first thing to consider is the geological conditions of the mine. For the weak and broken surrounding rock, the disc type anchor plate with larger diameter and thickness should be selected; for the stable rock layer, the flat plate type anchor plate with smaller size can be selected. At the same time, the anchor disk must be matched with the anchor used, including both diameter matching and strength matching.
Quality control during installation is equally important. The anchor disk should be installed close to the rock surface, and a special torque wrench should be used to ensure that the preload force meets the design requirements. The general requirement is that the preloading torque should not be less than 150N-m, and the specific value should be determined according to the design. Regular inspection should be made after installation, and the anchor disk should be strengthened or replaced in time if it is found that the anchor disk is deformed, corroded seriously or the preload force decreases by more than 15%.
As for the treatment of common problems, if it is found that the anchor disk has poor contact with the rock surface, the pad can be used to adjust; for the failure of individual anchor disks in the group anchor support, the anchors should be replenished in the vicinity; when the deformation of the surrounding rock leads to excessive force on the anchor disk, additional support should be considered or an extendable anchor system should be used. Through scientific selection and correct use of mining anchor disk, the reliability and safety of mine support system can be greatly improved.
